Cassis, caseilles, groseilles, groseilles à maquereaux, mûres, myrtilles, framboises... quels délices ces petits fruits! Ces petits fruits, je souhaite les cultiver, en prendre soin, les récolter pour vous les proposer frais et/ou transformés en délicieuses confitures, sirops, pâtes de fruits, déshydratés, ... à la ferme, sur nos marchés et sur les étals de nos boutiques locales préférées !
Parce qu'un dessin vaut parfois mieux que mille mots, je vous propose le dessin ci-dessous :
Sans rentrer dans les détails, je préfère vous écrire que je vais travailler sans machines, avec un sol vivant, sur de petites surfaces et avec beaucoup d'amour 🖤. Mon projet agricole de cultures de petits fruits s'intègre dans un engagement plus large. Nous sommes dix, à avoir acheté un terrain ensemble pour y concrétiser nos rêves. Certain.es entreprennent des activités à ambition professionnelle et commerciale, d'autres animeront des ateliers à vocation purement vivrière.

Blackcurrants, jostaberries, currants, gooseberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries... how delicious these small fruits are! I want to cultivate and take care of the berries, harvest them to offer you fresh and/or transformed delicacies as delicious jams, syrups, fruit jellies, dehydrated fruits... at the farm, on our markets and on the shelves of our favorite local stores!

Without going into too much detail, I would like to specify that I will work without machines, with living soil, on small surfaces and with a lot of love 🖤. There are ten of us who have bought a piece of land together to make our dreams come true. Je suis né à Paris, j'ai grandi en Bourgogne puis en région parisienne avant d'étudier en France et au Brésil, de travailler sur des projets internationaux en Allemagne, de voyager à travers le monde et - enfin - décider de sortir de l'industrie pour prendre la route, à la rencontre de terres et de gens.
Mon humble quête d'humain et d'humus m'a mené au coeur du Périgord-Limousin. J'y ai rencontré mes camarades. J'y nourris désormais mes racines.
Nous sommes 10 à avoir acheté le terrain de la Varlanchie pour incarner les valeurs et la vision que nous portons ensemble. Je compte sur nous, le dynamisme solidaire de notre territoire, mon expérience organisationnelle et pratique pour oeuvrer avec coeur.
Pourquoi les petits fruits ?
Je suis fan de petits fruits ! Je mange de la confiture tous les jours et après plusieurs années de maraîchage à rêver d'arbres, je choisis la voie du sous-bois et de ses petits fruits délicieux 😋

I was born in Paris, grew up in Burgundy and then near Paris before studying in France and Brazil, working on international projects in Germany, traveling around the world and - finally - deciding to leave the industry and hit the road, to discover territories and meet people.
My humble quest for humanity and humus led me to the heart of the Périgord-Limousin. I met my comrades. I now nourish my roots there.
All 10 of us have bought the land of la Varlanchie to embody the values and the vision that we carry together. I am counting on us, the dynamism of our territory, my organizational and practical experience to serve from my heart.
Why berries?
I am a berry fan! and I eat jam every day. After several years of vegetable gardening and dreaming of trees I choose the path of the undergrowth and its delicious berries 😋

Si je fais appel à vous aujourd'hui, c'est pour gagner du temps. ⏳ J'ai étudié plusieurs scénarios 🎞️ en fonction de mes capacités financières.💸 Sans finances au lancement, je pourrais chercher des boutures et les suivre pendant des années pour en faire de beaux arbustes. Je pourrais tomber des châtaigniers pour faire mes clôtures, chiner de vieux outils et les retaper... et tout cela, je le ferai. Avec votre aide, je pourrai me lancer dès cette année et conduire plus confortablement mes cultures pour vous proposer de beaux fruits en deux ans plutôt que cinq ou six. Vous avez le pouvoir sur mon temps et je veux employer mon temps à cultiver humblement, avec mes ami.es et camarades du territoire, pour que nous regagnions aussi, collectivement, notre pouvoir de faire et vivre ensemble.
Quelle somme ?
Je souhaiterais débloquer 17 k€ au travers d'une campagne de financement participatif avec 'j'adopte un projet' et de l'épargne citoyenne au travers des 'cigales'.
D'ailleurs, je tiens à remercier chaleureusement le Club Cigales Agapanthe de Limoges pour le prêt et la confiance qu'il m'accorde pour mon projet Petits Fruits à la Varlanchie. 🙏
Quel délai ?
Je prépare déjà notre sol avant de me lancer sur la protection des cultures et l'installation des premières infrastructures. La disponibilité des fonds cet automne / hiver 2022, voire début 2023, serait idéal !
Quel usage ?
- Avec 4 000 €, j'ai mes plants.
- Avec 5 500 €, j'ai mes plants, je les plante et je les protège de nos voisins les chevreuils.
- Avec 17 000 €, j'ai mes plants, je les plante, je les protège de nos voisins les chevreuils, je tutore mes cultures et j'ai tous les outils et consommables nécessaires pour travailler efficacement.
- Avec plus de 17 000 €, je peux commencer à investir dans les solutions d'irrigation pour les petits fruits et, surtout, acheter des arbres, pleins d'arbres, pour lancer nos jardins-forêts et peupler nos haies. Soutenir nos projets collectifs c'est faire de la Verlanch' ce lieu où il fait bon vivre et les rêves s'incarnent les pieds dans la terre et les yeux grand ouverts.

The reason I am reaching out to you today is to save time. ⏳ I have looked at several scenarios 🎞️ based on my financial capabilities.💸 Without finances to launch, I could look for cuttings and nurture them for years to make beautiful shrubs. I could also cut down chestnut trees to make my fence posts as well as hunt for old tools and refurbish them... In any case I am planning to do all of this. With your help, I can get started this year and more comfortably manage my crops to offer you beautiful fruits in two years rather than five or six. You have the power over my time and I want to use my time to humbly cultivate, with my partners and comrades in the territory, so that we also regain, collectively, our power to do and live together.
How much?
I would ideally like to raise 17 k€ through a crowdfunding campaign with 'j'adopte un projet' and citizen savings through the 'cigales'.
By the way, I would like to warmly thank the Club Cigales Agapanthe de Limoges for their loan and the trust they put in me for my project Petits Fruits à la Varlanchie. 🙏
What is the timeframe?
I'm already preparing our soil prior to tackling crop protection and installing the first infrastructures. Availability of funds this fall/winter 2022, or even early 2023, would be ideal!
What use?
- With 4 000 €, I have my saplings.
- With 5 500 €, I have my saplings which I can plant and then protect from our neighboring deers.
- With 17 000 €, I have my saplings which I can plant and then protect from our neighboring deers. Along with taking care of my crops, I have all the tools and consumables necessary to work effectively.
- With more than 17 000 €, I can start investing in irrigation solutions for my berries and, above all, buy trees, lots of trees, to launch our forest-gardens and populate our hedgerows, support our collective projects and make la Varlanchie the place where life is good and dreams are embodied with our feet on the ground and our eyes wide open.
